Christmas Lessons & Carols
on Sunday, December 21

On December 21 at 4 p.m., the Cathedral will present our annual service of Christmas Lessons & Carols, sung by the Cathedral Schola. Acting Director of Music William Fred Scott will conduct works by G.R. Woodward, Boris Ord, Derek Holman, Alexandre Kopilow, Hugo Distler, Herbert Howells, Stephen Cleobury, R.R. Bennett, Harold Darke, John Rutter, Healey Willan, and John Goss —with various scriptural readings of the season and congregational carols interspersed amid the various choral anthems. This service has become one of the favorites of the Cathedral community and the community at large. We encourage everyone to attend!
