Carpenter’s Kids Continues at St. Philip’s
Beginning in 2009 members of the Cathedral began a life changing partnership with orphans in Tanzania. Through the Carpenter’s Kids program and a pledge of $80/year for five years (totaling $400) an HIV/AIDS orphan or other vulnerable child can be provided with a school uniform, shoes, socks, breakfast each school day and more.
Earlier this spring we presented to Bishop Mdimi Mhogolo the funds for support of our fourth village. This one is sponsored by St. Veronica’s Guild and parishioners. We now have a total of 200 children receiving daily support from St. Philip’s!
Now is the time for you and your family to consider if Carpenter’s Kids has a place in your family outreach. It is a way for you to engage in God’s mission to transform the lives of children, communities and the world. We will have open enrollment for our next villages beginning May 9. Click here for information and enrollment forms.
